How to Prepare for the Procedure
Ensure your skin is clean and free of makeup, creams, or oils before your session.
Avoid waxing, tweezing, bleaching, or using hair removal creams for at least two weeks prior to your treatment.
Let your technician know if you’re taking antibiotics, retinol, Accutane, or any medications that increase sun sensitivity.
Share any relevant medical history, including skin conditions, with your laser technician.
If you’re prone to cold sores, consider taking preventative medication 4–10 days before your treatment.
Inform your technician if you’ve ever had cosmetic tattoos, pigmentation, or permanent makeup near the treatment area.
Individualized Care for Every Skin Type
Our treatment is safe and effective for all skin types. For lighter skin tones (types I-III), we use the Alexandrite (755nm) wavelength, while the Nd:Yag (1064nm) wavelength is used for darker skin tones (types IV-VI).
Before your treatment, we’ll schedule a free consultation to assess your skin type, hair color, medical history, and other factors. This ensures we customize your treatment plan and confirm that the procedure is right for you.
Important Notice
We can perform cheek laser hair removal on tanned skin, as long as the tan is not recent. We strongly recommend avoiding sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning creams for at least 1–2 weeks before your session. Additionally, please keep in mind that this treatment is most effective on darker hair colors, such as brown and black.
